ITINERARY:

Day 1: Depart New York
Our pilgrimage begins as we leave from JFK airport, New York for an overnight flight to Lisbon. Dinner and breakfast are served on board.

Day 2: Lisbon- Fatima
Arrive Lisbon, meet by Glory Tour's guide at the airport. We drive to the town of Santarem, one of the oldest cities in the world. We will walk through the narrow streets to the Church of St. Stephen, containing the oldest recorded Eucharistic miracle. Behold the 750-year-old Holy Miracle of Santarem, a relic of the Bleeding Host, stolen by a woman in payment to a sorcerer, the host begins to emit a brilliant beam of light and began to profusely bleed. Reverently returned to the church of St. Stephen, this miracle has been on continuous display since 1269. Continue to Fatima, the location of the Blessed Mother who appeared in 1917 to three simple shepherd children and exhorted mankind to pray for world peace. After early check in to your hotel, enjoy the video presentation on the history of Fatima and the apparitions. Then, tour Fatima and see the Basilica. Mass at the Little Chapel of the Apparitions. Dinner and overnight in Fatima.

Day 3: Fatima
After breakfast, we will celebrate Mass at the Little Chapel of the Apparitions. Touring Fatima, we see the Basilica, the site of Francesco's and Jacinta's graves, the Hamlet of Aljustrel, where the children lived, and Valinhos, the site of Our Lady's appearance after the children's return from prison. Follow the Stations of the Cross along the Via Sacra (Sacred Way) culminating in the Chapel of Calvary, which overlooks all of Fatima. Join pilgrims from around the world in an evening candlelight procession to pray the rosary. Don't forget your white handkerchief for the Adeus farewell, when thousands of pilgrims wave a loving farewell to the statue of Our Lady of the Rosary. Dinner and overnight in Fatima.

Day 4: Fatima- Santiago De Compostela
We will continue to Porto and stop for a lunch and wine testing at a local winery to taste the famous port wine. After lunch depart for Pontevedra, where we will see the magnificent Cathedral. Continue on to Santiago De Compostela for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Santiago De Compostela- Santander
After breakfast, we will visit Santiago De Compostela, where all the major pilgrims roads lead. Our visit will include the tomb of St. James and those of his disciples, St. Theodore and St. Anthanasius. After a visit to the Cathedral and the Churches of San Francisco and of Santa Clara, we will continue to Santander for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Santander- Garabandal- Santander
After breakfast, we will drive through the scenic countryside of Spain to Garabandal. Little has changed in Garabandal since June 18, 1961 when four children had an apparition of an Angel sent to prepare the children for a visit from the Virgin. Between July 2, 1961 and November 13, 1965, the Blessed Virgin visited them, speaking, guiding and confiding secrets of future events. Dinner and overnight in Santander.

Day 7: Santander- Lourdes
After breakfast, we depart for the great pilgrimage center of Lourdes SW of France. The birthplace of St. Bernadette to whom our Lady appeared in 1858 near the Grotto of Massabielle. Settle into your hotel and celebrate Mass in the world’s famous Shrine. Join prayers with pilgrims from around the world as you pray for the sick, drink the water from the miraculous spring, where the Blessed Virgin directed Bernadette to locate at the base of the grotto which has flowed uninterrupted since 1858. Dinner and overnight in Lourdes.

Day 8: Lourdes
After breakfast, celebrate Mass at the Grotto, and walk in the footsteps of St Bernadette. See Boly Mill where St Bernadette was born and the 'Cachot,' an abandoned prison where Bernadette's impoverished family lived. Join your prayers with those of pilgrims from around the world as you pray for the sick, drink water from the miraculous spring the Virgin directed Bernadette to locate at the base of the grotto, and submerge yourself in the healing baths. Experience Christ's love as you walk the life-sized Stations of the Cross overlooking the holy Grotto. Kneel in the chapel built on the very rock of the Grotto in obedience to the request of the 'Immaculate Conception.' Attend the blessing of the sick and participate in nightly candlelight processions requested by Our Lady. Dinner and overnight in Lourdes.

Day 9: Lourdes
The whole day is for your private devotions. Dinner and overnight in Lourdes.

Day 10: Lourdes- Paris
After breakfast, we depart by TGV train for Paris. Dinner and overnight in Paris.

Day 11: Paris
After breakfast, we celebrate mass at the Shrine of the Miraculous Medal. We will see the incorrupt body of St. Catherine Laboure whose guardian angel led her to the chapel where the Blessed Virgin displayed a vision of the miraculous medal and later the green scapular wherein the Blessed Virgin promised bountiful graces for all the wearers of this. Guided tour of this beautiful city, which includes the Champs Elysees, L’Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower, and the Church of the Sacre Coeur and the Church of St. Vincent de Paul. In the evening, join the optional night show or boat trip to Seine River. Dinner and overnight in the most spectacular city on earth.

Day 12: Paris- Nevers- Paris
After breakfast, we depart by motor coach for Nevers. St. Bernadette lived for 12 years as part of the congregation of the Sister of Nevers after taking the veil in 1867. Throughout her life she suffered and eventually died from asthma, at age 35. We will visit the convent of St. Gildard where St. Bernadette’s incorrupt body reposes. Then, we return to Paris for dinner and overnight.

Day 13: Paris- Lisieux- Paris
After breakfast, we will travel northwest by motor coach to the town of Lisieux, the home of St. Therese of Lisieux whom Pope Pius X called “the Greatest Saint of Modern times.” Her extraordinary love for God and service to humanity comes alive as you visit the Basilica Cathedral of St. Peter, and Les Buissonets, her family home. On display are relics, clothing, and personal objects belonging to the “Little Flower.” View the statue depicting the Blessed Virgin who smiled at St. Therese during an ecstasy before curing her illness. Combine your prayers in the Carmel Chapel with the Carmelite sisters, just as St. Therese did before her death in 1897. Return to Paris and dinner overnight.

Day 14: Paris- U.S.A
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for return flight to the US.
